Introduction
Paris is the capital city of France and one of the most visited cities in the world. Called "The City of Light" because of its spectacular night lighting, it offers historical monuments, incredible gastronomy and extraordinary museums.
Historical monuments
This city stands out due to the large number of monuments and artistic works that are distributed throughout the city. Among the most important are the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Sacre Coeur Basilica , the Notre Dame Cathedral and the famous Alexandre III Bridge.
Where to stay
The city is made up of 20 districts that surround the Seine River. In each of them there is a very important monument, park or site. Among the most prominent we find District I (Louvre), District IV (Notre Dame), District VII (Eiffel Tower), District IX (Opera).
Gastronomy
The country has a world-renowned and award-winning gastronomy. Their bread, cheese and wines come first but most tourists want to try dishes like Foie Gras, Quiche Lorraine, Croque-Monsieur, Ratatouille and Soupe au oignons. We can't forget about sweets like Croissants, Éclair and Macaroon.
